The Bench

Software Quality Checks

Make software changes easier to assess before they become part of your workflow.

As a business system evolves, developers need to understand which rules a change affects and whether an old problem has returned. The Bench brings those checks and their supporting evidence into the review.

Checks that support a developer’s decision
Checks that support a developer’s decision Software changes enter automated checks, informed by application rules and regression tests. Findings and evidence go to developer review. Features

  • Boundary checks

Flag code that bypasses an agreed integration point, such as calling a booking provider outside its adapter.

  • Regression tests

Run known problem cases again after a change to catch behavior that has broken before.

  • Test controls

Test the checks with both intentional defects and valid code, so a passing result is not just an empty scan.

  • Review evidence

Link findings to files, test results, and saved observations so a developer can inspect the change and decide what to correct.

How it works

Application-owned rules define the boundaries to check. Regression tests exercise known problem cases, while separate controls test the checks themselves. Findings and saved observations support the developer’s review.
